coming from out of town
Rural/Overseas Patients

For rural and overseas patients we can accommodate by arranging all the necessary appointments and tests for your treatment in advance. The organisation for your trip can be done via phone or email and consists of:
-
Specialist surgeon consultation/s
-
Specific pre-operative tests such as radiology, pathology, and nuclear medicine
-
Surgery booking (if necessary);
-
After a surgical procedure post operative appointments are necessary and your surgeon will discuss these options with you.
Hospital Accommodation

Sydney Adventist Hospital has low cost and on-site accommodation at Jacaranda Lodge, which is connected to the hospital for ease of attending appointments. For meals there is the option of the hospital cafe and restaurants a short walk down the road. Accommodation includes parking and is at a very reasonable cost per night for a twin room, ensuite bathroom, and kitchenette.

Please refer to this map, which shows the location of Jacaranda Lodge on the Sydney Adventist Hospital grounds. It is located at the rear, opposite the Beattie Complex. You can access our rooms by entering through the Clark Tower (just to the right of Jacaranda Lodge), taking the lift up to Level 4, and then going straight though into The San Clinic via a single glass door located on the mural wall.
Transport

Parking is available on-site for residents’ cars. There is a small set of shops within walking distance of the Lodge. Buses run between the Hospital and Turramurra, Thornleigh and Hornsby train stations - see www.transportnsw.info for more information.
